Terms and Conditions for Appliance Installation

Pricing and Payment Terms

a. All installation pricing is subject to change without prior notice and will be confirmed upon agreement of installation services.
b. Additional costs may apply for unforeseen complications, modifications to existing infrastructure, or non-standard installations.
c. Payment is due upon completion of installation unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Electrical Safety and Compliance

a. All electrical appliances must be installed by a licensed electrician in accordance with AS/NZS 3000 (Australian/New Zealand Wiring Rules).
b. Electrical appliances must be protected by correctly rated circuit breakers and Residual Current Devices (RCD) to ensure safety and compliance.
c. Appropriate cabling must be installed to meet current safety standards and appliance specifications.
d. An electrical safety inspection and testing will be conducted upon completion of installation.

 Gas Safety and Compliance

a. All gas appliances must be installed by a licensed gas fitter in accordance with AS/NZS 5601 (Australian Gas Installation Code).
b. Gas appliances require proper ventilation and clearances as specified by manufacturer requirements and Australian standards.
c. A mandatory gas leak test will be performed on all connections before commissioning any gas appliance.
d. Gas supply lines must be appropriately sized and pressure tested to ensure adequate gas flow and safety.

 Installation Requirements

a. The customer is responsible for ensuring the installation site is accessible and prepared prior to the installation team's arrival.
b. All preliminary work, including necessary infrastructure, wiring, gas lines, and structural modifications, must be completed before installation.
c. For electrical appliances: Adequate power supply and circuit capacity must be available.
d. For gas appliances: Existing gas supply must be adequate for the appliance requirements (correct pipe sizing and gas pressure).
e. Proper clearances from combustible materials and adequate ventilation must be available as per manufacturer specifications.

Safety Certification and Compliance

a. Electrical compliance certificates will be issued for all electrical installations upon completion.
b. Gas compliance certificates will be issued for all gas installations upon completion.
c. The customer is responsible for obtaining any required building permits, council approvals, or additional certifications prior to installation.
d. All installations must pass safety inspections before being commissioned for use.

Liability and Warranty

a. The installer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the installation process.
b. The installer is not responsible for pre-existing problems, inadequate infrastructure, or conditions not related to the current installation.
c. Any warranty offered by the installer is limited to workmanship and is separate from manufacturer warranties.
d. Warranty terms will be provided in writing at the time of installation completion.

Customer Responsibilities

a. The customer must ensure the installation site meets all necessary requirements and safety standards prior to installation.
b. The customer agrees to provide accurate information about existing infrastructure, previous installations, and any relevant site conditions.
c. Access to utilities (electricity, gas, water) must be available during installation.
d. The customer must be present or have an authorized representative available during installation.

Additional Services and Modifications

a. Any modifications to existing electrical circuits or gas lines must be performed by appropriately licensed tradespeople and may incur additional costs.
b. Upgrades to electrical panels, gas meters, or supply lines are not included in standard installation pricing.
c. Removal and disposal of old appliances is included. however if the appliance in above standard size this will incur extra costs.

Modification and Termination

a. These terms and conditions may be modified by the installer at any time and will be communicated to the customer prior to installation services.
b. Either party may terminate the agreement with written notice if terms are breached, subject to payment for services already rendered.
c. Cancellation fees may apply for same-day or short-notice cancellations.

Acceptance and Agreement

By agreeing to installation services, the customer acknowledges understanding and acceptance of these terms and conditions, and confirms that all information provided is accurate and complete.
