Sarros Appliances - Delivery Terms & Conditions

1. Delivery Timeframes

Standard Delivery:
  • Most popular appliances: Typically within 7 business days from order confirmation
  • Special order items: 2-4 weeks (confirmed at time of order)
  • Installation appointments: Subject to technician availability, typically within 1-2 business days of delivery
Business Days Definition:

Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM. Excludes weekends, public holidays, and periods when Sarros offices are closed.

2. Delivery Area

Service Coverage:
  • Perth metropolitan and Peel regions
  • From Yanchep to Lake Clifton (all suburbs included)
  • Delivery availability confirmed at point of sale
Delivery Limitations:
  • Remote or difficult access locations may incur additional charges
  • Apartment buildings above ground floor may require special arrangements
  • Customer must provide clear access to delivery location

3. Delivery Process

Notification:
  • Customers will receive confirmation of delivery date within 24-48 hours of order
  • SMS/phone notification provided 1-2 hours before delivery window
  • Customer must be available during confirmed delivery window
Delivery Requirements:
  • Valid contact person must be present to receive goods
  • Photo identification may be required for high-value items
  • Customer responsible for checking items upon delivery

4. Delays & Modifications

Potential Delays:
  • Manufacturer supply issues
  • Extreme weather conditions
  • Vehicle breakdowns or traffic incidents
  • Customer unavailability during scheduled window
Delay Notification:
  • Sarros will notify customers immediately of any delays
  • Alternative delivery dates offered where possible
  • No compensation for delays beyond Sarros' reasonable control
Rescheduling:
  • First reschedule: No charge
  • Subsequent reschedules: May incur $50 administration fee
  • 24-hour notice required for rescheduling requests

5. Failed Deliveries

Customer Unavailability:
  • If customer unavailable during confirmed window, delivery attempt recorded
  • Redelivery fee of $75 applies for second attempt
  • Items may be returned to supplier after 3 failed attempts
Access Issues:
  • Customer must ensure clear, safe access to delivery location
  • Additional charges may apply for difficult access situations
  • Sarros reserves right to refuse delivery if access deemed unsafe

6. Installation Coordination

Professional Installation:
  • All Sarros appliances installed by qualified electricians/plumbers
  • Installation typically scheduled within 1-2 business days of delivery
  • Free site inspection available to ensure proper fit and requirements
Installation Prerequisites:
  • Delivery must be completed before installation appointment
  • Customer responsible for ensuring utilities (power/water) are available
  • Any additional electrical/plumbing work quoted separately

7. Damage & Inspection

Delivery Inspection:
  • Customer must inspect items immediately upon delivery
  • Any visible damage must be noted on delivery receipt
  • Concealed damage must be reported within 48 hours
Damage Claims:
  • Photos of damage required for all claims
  • Sarros will coordinate with manufacturer/courier for resolution
  • Replacement or repair arranged at no cost to customer

9. Limitation of Liability

  • Sarros' liability limited to replacement or refund of goods
  • No liability for consequential losses or damages
  • Customer advised to arrange alternative accommodation if appliance replacement required

10. Variations

  • These terms may be updated without notice
  • Specific delivery arrangements may override standard terms where agreed in writing
  • Any variations must be confirmed by authorized Sarros representative
