Scope of Work
This package includes the supply and installation of a gas hot water system, covering all necessary labor related solely to the installation of the unit itself. Installation is performed by qualified Sarros gas fitters in accordance with Australian Standards, WA plumbing codes, and gas safety regulations.

Package Inclusions
- Gas hot water unit supply
- Standard installation labor by licensed gas fitters
- Basic gas connections (where existing gas supply is adequate and compliant)
- Standard plumbing connections to existing hot water system location
- Flue installation and venting (standard configuration)
- System commissioning, testing, and gas leak testing
- Customer handover and operation instructions
- Gas compliance certificate upon completion

Exclusions
The quoted price excludes additional materials or services which may be required for installation completion. Exclusions include but are not limited to:
- Isolation valves and additional plumbing fittings
- Gas line extensions or upgrades beyond standard connections
- New gas meter installations or gas supply upgrades
- Concrete slabs or equipment pads for outdoor installations
- Additional pipe work beyond standard connections
- Flue extensions or modifications for complex venting requirements
- Electrical connections for gas systems with electrical components
- Structural modifications or access improvements
- Removal and disposal of existing hot water system (unless specified)
- Council permits or approvals
- Gas leaks found on existing property gas service or appliances

Additional Charges
Any additional materials, alterations, or services required outside the scope of this package will incur supplementary charges at Sarros' standard rates. All extra costs will be:
- Presented to the customer with detailed explanation
- Require written approval prior to commencement of supplementary work
- Charged at current Sarros rates for materials and labor

Government Rebates & Incentives
Available government rebates and energy efficiency incentives for eligible gas hot water installations may be processed by Sarros on behalf of the customer. These rebates are:
- Applied as point-of-sale discounts where applicable
- Subject to government eligibility criteria and availability
- Processed according to current state and federal requirements
- Non-transferable and specific to the installation address
- Subject to change based on government policy updates

Customer Responsibilities (Relevant to Online Orders)
- Site readiness and clear access for installation team
- Adequate space for gas hot water unit placement (minimum clearances as specified)
- Existing gas supply is adequate, compliant, and accessible
- Any necessary permits or council approvals are obtained
- Someone over 18 years is present during installation
- Pets are secured and installation area is clear
- Existing gas appliances are disconnected if required

Installation Timeline (Relevant to Online Orders)
- Estimated installation timeframes will be communicated at time of booking
- Installation typically completed within 1 day for standard installations
- Timelines may be subject to change due to weather conditions, supply issues, or site complications
- Customer will receive 24-48 hours advance notice of installation date
- Sarros operates 7am-4pm for standard installations
- Gas compliance testing completed same day where possible

Warranty Coverage
- Gas hot water unit: Covered by manufacturer's warranty (terms vary by brand)
- Sarros workmanship: Lifetime guarantee on all installation work
- Parts and labor: Manufacturer warranty covers parts; Sarros covers installation-related issues
- Gas fitting work: Covered under Sarros lifetime workmanship guarantee
- Warranty activation requires full payment completion and system registration
- Regular maintenance recommended to maintain warranty validity

Site Assessment (Relevant to Online Orders)
- Pre-installation site assessment may be required for complex installations
- Site assessment fee may apply if installation cannot proceed due to site unsuitability
- Customer will be advised of any site-specific requirements prior to installation
- Installation may be rescheduled if site conditions are unsuitable
- Gas supply adequacy assessment included in site evaluation

Safety & Compliance
- All gas work performed by licensed WA gas fitters (License PL8399)
- Gas compliance certificate issued upon completion
- Installation complies with AS/NZS 5601 gas installation standards
- Mandatory gas leak testing performed on all connections
- Safety shutdown procedures explained during customer handover

Acceptance
By signing the installation agreement and proceeding with the gas hot water system package installation, the customer acknowledges they have read, understood, and accept these Terms and Conditions in full.
