  1. Scope of Work

    This package includes the supply and installation of a hot water system (HWS). Installation covers all standard labour required for the safe connection of the unit to existing services, performed by licensed and qualified technicians and in accordance with Australian Standards and relevant local regulations.

  2. Package Inclusions

    • New hot water system unit supply (type/brand as quoted)
    • Standard installation labour
    • Basic electrical and/or gas connections (where existing supply is adequate and compliant)
    • Standard plumbing connections to replace existing hot water system
    • System commissioning and safety testing
    • Customer handover with usage and maintenance instructions
  3. Exclusions

    The quoted price does not include additional works, materials, or modifications required to complete the installation. Exclusions may include but are not limited to:

    • Non-standard valves, fittings, or pipework
    • Modifications to existing plumbing, gas, or electrical supply
    • Concrete base, equipment pads, or structural changes
    • Drainage or overflow solutions
    • Upgrades to switchboard, electrical, or gas installations
    • Removal/disposal of old units (unless specified in writing)
  4. Additional Charges

    Any additional or non-standard items required beyond the scope of this package will be quoted separately before any extra work begins. Work will commence only upon written approval by the customer.

  5. Rebates & Incentives

    Where eligible, government rebates (such as Small-scale Technology Certificates) may be processed on behalf of the customer and applied as a discount at point of sale. Rebates are:

    • Subject to eligibility, inspection, and availability
    • Determined by applicable government policy and relevant authority
    • Specific to the address and installation conditions
  6. Customer Responsibilities

    • Provide safe and clear site access for the installation team
    • Ensure sufficient space/clearances for unit placement (as per system requirements)
    • Verify existing electrical/gas/plumbing supply is compliant
    • Arrange or supply required approvals or permits if needed
    • Ensure an adult (over 18) is present during installation
    • Secure pets and keep the installation area accessible at the agreed time
  7. Installation Timeline

    • Estimated timeframes will be advised when booking
    • Typical installation is completed in 1 business day for standard jobs
    • Timelines may be affected by weather, supply issues, or site complications
    • Customer will receive reasonable notice of installation date or any changes
    • Installations are generally performed during standard business hours
  8. Warranty Coverage

    • Hot water system unit: Covered by manufacturer’s warranty (terms vary by brand/model)
    • Installation workmanship: Sarros Enterprises Pty Ltd provides a lifetime workmanship guarantee
    • Warranty claims require full payment and compliance with maintenance recommendations
  9. Site Assessment

    • A pre-installation site assessment may be required for non-standard or complex jobs
    • If installation cannot proceed due to site suitability, a call-out or assessment fee may apply
    • Customers will be advised in advance of any special site requirements
    • Installations may be rescheduled if necessary due to site conditions
  10. Acceptance

    By accepting the quotation and booking the installation, the customer confirms they have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions in full.
